Privacy policy

Mara is a product of Mars Network Services, Inc. ("we", "us"). This policy covers this website (mara.themarsnetwork.com) and the Mara receptionist kiosk and services we install for our business clients.
What we collect on this website
- Demo requests. When you submit the demo form we collect your name, business name, phone number, email, city, and anything you tell us about your front desk. We use it to contact you about a demo and to keep a record of the conversation in our customer relationship system (Zoho CRM).
- Chat. If you use the Mara chat on this page, the messages you send are processed by our AI assistant to answer you. If you share contact details in chat, we store them so we can follow up.
- Analytics and advertising. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics (privacy-preserving, no cross-site tracking) and the Meta Pixel, which may set cookies so we can measure the site and show relevant ads on Meta platforms. You can limit ad tracking in your browser and Meta ad settings.
What Mara collects at a client's location
When Mara is installed at a business, she may collect visitor names, contact details, the purpose of a visit, and appointment details, and may record that a visitor checked in at a given time. That information belongs to the business that installed Mara. We process it on their behalf to run the receptionist service, deliver notifications to their team, and book appointments in their calendar. We do not sell it, and we do not use it to market to visitors.
Mara always identifies herself as an AI. She does not record audio or video of visitors unless the business has told you otherwise on site.
How we store and protect it
Data is stored with reputable cloud providers (Cloudflare, Zoho, Anthropic for AI processing) using encryption in transit and at rest. Access is limited to Mars Network Services staff who need it to provide the service. We keep demo request records as long as we have a business relationship or reasonable prospect of one; client visitor data is retained according to the client's instructions and deleted on request.
Sharing
We share information only with the service providers named above, with the business that installed Mara (for kiosk data), and when required by law. We never sell personal information.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct, or delete information we hold about you by emailing sales@themarsnetwork.com or calling (813) 501-5467. If your information was collected by a business using Mara, contact that business first; we will assist them.
Children
This site and service are for businesses and are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date above. Continued use of the site or service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
